This class is intended for semi-independent sewing while a teacher floats around helping and assisting among the students. A great class to get a bit of help on finishing up a project or starting something new that you are a bit intimidated to start on your own.


This class is intended for the absolute beginner or anyone

wanting to brush up on quilting basics.

This class will cover:

- accurate cutting

- accurate piecing

- accurate pressing 

-block assembly 

You will learn these techniques all while making the top of a simple yet elegant table runner.​

This course is an introductory into quilting your own quilts using your walking foot and quilters guide. We will practice many different techniques using our prepared practice quilt sandwiches. We will also discuss how you would plan and quilt a small project of your choice. Feel free to bring along a small table runner or place mat to work on after all of our practice is complete.
Learn how to quilt using your walking foot. Many machine quilting techniques and tips will be covered. Perfect techniques for your home sewing machine. A must for every quilter.

SPRING!   Bench Pillows 
Start by making one large "bench pillow" form.

Then change out a new cover for that pillow form

for each season or holiday! This is the idea behind

a new line of patterns for interchangeable bench pillow

projects.     The Welcome Spring Bench Pillow is the

perfect spring project.

"Spring Garden"

Machine Applique & Piecing Class 
This is a great scrap buster project. You can make it

any size you like as the pattern keeps repeating.

You will learn:

- basic fusible machine appliqué. 
- different appliqué stitches

- precision cutting and accurate piecing

"QUILT" Wallhanging 
This adorable QUILT wall-hanging will be the perfect addition

to your quilting room. It features traditional pieced letters and

surrounded by a sweet rick rack pieced border. It will look

fabulous in your quilt room or make one as a gift for your

special quilter friend.

Friday May 24

This is a great class for the newer quilter (prerequisite should be

completion of our beginner class or equivalent).

You will learn:

-cutting and piecing with both large and small pieces of fabrics

 - half square triangle technique 

- flying geese technique

 You will learn these techniques while beginning to make a

lovely small quilt that can be used as a table topper, wall hanging,

or it is perfect as a baby quilt. Only two fabrics to choose for this

lovely project.

Wednesday June 19
9:30am – 1:30pm   $35.00


Learn the basics of free motion quilting. This is intended for the ultimate beginner. This class will focus on practicing a few basic designs and perfecting them to build confidence and enthusiasm for free motion quilting

Saturday June 22

9:30am-1:30pm  Class Fee: $45 (not applicable for class pass)


This is the perfect time to learn paper piecing or commonly called foundation piecing. If you can sew a straight line you can accurately and confidently sew any paper pieced project. We will begin with a simpler project that can later be made into a quilt or a tote bag. Learn the basics and erase the fear of paper piecing.

Classes are limited to 6 students.

If you have a pattern or project that you would like to make you can suggest to us for a class or you can get 4 friends together and schedule your a private class with the teacher of your choice.

If your class requires a book or pattern, please realize that it is copyright infringement to make a photocopy or share outside your household.

All class supply purchases receive 15% off.
Class Policy
Full payment is due upon signing up for a class to guarantee your place.

100% of class fee is refundable or transferable to another class if cancellation is done at least 72 hours before class.


Sorry, we are not able to make exceptions. This ensures the teachers are compensated for their time, and students waiting for spots in full classes are not missing class.

No-shows forfeit any refund or exchange.

Each student has their own sewing desk and we also have separate cutting & layout areas.  Ironing board & iron are provided.  

Our teaching philosophy is to allow each student to work & learn at they own pace.

Patience & knowledge is what we strive to provided.

 We are also knowledgeable on all machine brands & models, so that if you have an issue with your machine during class, we have the expertise to help you solve the problem!
