There are 2 options for you to sign up for our classes: You can call (705) 737-3777, or stop by and register in person.

Classes are limited to 6 students.

If you have a pattern or project that you would like to make you can suggest to us for a class or you can get 4 friends together and schedule your a private class with the teacher of your choice.

If your class requires a book or pattern, please realize that it is copyright infringement to make a photocopy or share outside your household.

All class supply purchases receive 15% off.
Class Policy
Full payment is due upon signing up for a class to guarantee your place.

100% of class fee is refundable or transferable to another class if cancellation is done at least 72 hours before class.


Sorry, we are not able to make exceptions. This ensures the teachers are compensated for their time, and students waiting for spots in full classes are not missing class.

No-shows forfeit any refund or exchange.

This class is intended for semi-independent sewing while a teacher floats around helping and assisting among the students. A great class to get a bit of help on finishing up a project or starting something new that you are a bit intimidated to start on your own.

This is a great class for the newer quilter (prerequisite

should be completion of our beginner class or equivalent).

You will learn:

-cutting and piecing with both large and small pieces of fabrics

 - half square triangle technique 

- flying geese technique

 You will learn these techniques while beginning to make a

lovely small quilt that can be used as a table topper, wall hanging, or it is perfect as a baby quilt. Only two fabrics to choose for this

lovely project.

Learn the basics of free motion quilting. This is intended for the ultimate beginner. This class will focus on practicing a few basic designs and perfecting them to build confidence and enthusiasm for free motion quilting

Saturday June 22   9:30am-1:30pm

This is the perfect time to learn paper piecing or commonly called foundation piecing. If you can sew a straight line you can accurately and confidently sew any paper pieced project. We will begin with a simpler project that can later be made into a quilt or a tote bag. Learn the basics and erase the fear of paper piecing.

​This project is suitable for beginners or anyone who

has had previous hand applique experience and wishes

to continue on their journey.  You will learn the basics of "Prepared Edge Applique", a method that I love to teach!

  It is wonderful to see students who have struggled with

other methods of hand applique catch on to this easy

and stress free method.

Bench Buddies

These are an adorable series of petite pillows that are fitting for our summer season. We have chosen three to complement our seasons to add a wee bit of splash to your summer décor. They are the perfect quick summer project. What great hostess gifts they would make for the back-yard BBQ’s! 

Friday July 5 - Sweet Fruits: A feast of fruits including strawberries, watermelon and cherries. This cutie includes fusible applique, hand embroidery and a bit of piecing. So sweet! 

Friday July 26 – Birdhouse: A petite pillow that is foundation pieced. Perfect if you have been thinking of trying paper piecing or just want to make a quick small project. 

Friday August 16 – Hanging with my Buds: An adorable small pillow with hanging floral baskets. Includes a little hand embroidery and a tiny bit of fusible applique.

BIG Stitch 

Learn a fun new way to quilt your quilts quickly and effectively using perle cotton. We will work on a little sampler quilt to explore a variety of ideas and techniques that you can then incorporate into your larger quilt tops. This is a technique class, but the sampler you will work on is pretty cute that could be made into a pillow or candle mat.

String Quilting- 
Do you have an abundance of scraps or left-over jelly rolls that you are not sure what to do with? String quilts are a great way to use them up. We will work on a simple tote bag that will teach you a great way to use up that scrap bin of fabric you have been storing. Once you have learned this technique you can make placemats, table runner, lap quilts etc. You will deplete your scrap bin in no time.
